The implementation of a Digital Action Plan in your school – consolidating and monitoring the change

When implementing your institutional digital action plan or DAP, it is essential to maintain control over the whole change process and ensure its successful completion. You should monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of each action through the SMART targets set during the planning process (see previous Module 4), and determine the level of achievement of the SMART targets or whether they need to be changed and fine-tuned.

It is important that the monitoring is carried out systematically (at regular intervals) during the whole process of change, so that any potential problems can be identified and addressed in a timely manner. The overall evaluation of the actions undertaken should consider not only the targets set, but also the benefits they have brought to the institution, its teachers, and its learners.

This sub-chapter of the module uses the outcomes of the SELFIE Pedagogical Innovation Assistant Toolkit (SELFIE PTK – 612867-EPP-1-2019-1-EL-EPPKA3-PI-FORWARD).
